Getting so much involved in departmental details sways founders from core to triviality. As focus is scarce, diluted attention towards details is growing. How the sales agent is calling the leads, the marketing team writing a blog post, or the customer service tickets management. This happens usually with inexperienced founders due to insecurity and it shows in a form of over control or some sense of eagerness to hoard and hedge knowledge. Passion is something to hide behind and comes as a big execuse for it, but it is a very expensive mistake.
It is important to learn how to delegate, and be clear on what needs to be done. As management you are responsible to lead the team not do their job.
